"For I was . . . in prison and you visited me." Matt 25:35, 36
Two pro-life activists are being held in a federal prison right here in Connecticut for their work to save the unborn. FIC has learned that they would appreciate “words of encouragement”. To that end, please follow the very careful instructions below and send them a kind word this Advent and Christmas. The two prisoners are Jean Marshall and Will Goodman. Letters are restricted to simple white or lined pieces of paper with only blue or black ink used. The envelope must be pre-printed with the stamp. These can be purchased from the post office. The prisoner’s “prison number” must be used.
JEAN MARSHALL 93609-509 FCI DANBURY FEDERAL CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION ROUTE 37 DANBURY, CT 06811
We only have Jean’s prison number so far, but please come back for Will’s. Here is more information about Will, who is alleged to “not receive adequate medical care” for an injury sustained to his head when he fell from an upper bunk. Here is an account by LifeSite News . . .
Will Goodman, currently an inmate at Federal Correction Institution Danbury in Connecticut, suffered severe injuries on Sunday, November 15, after falling in his sleep from an upper bunk and landing headfirst on the floor underneath… Goodman was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. Although he was vomiting blood and doctors discovered that he had skull fractures, he was sent back to the prison that night. There he suffered from severe dizziness and nausea, sleepiness without being able to sleep, and pain to his head, face, shoulders, lower back, with bruises and swelling. His nose bled for two days.
