A looming anti-family decision by the New Britain Board of Education to distribute condoms at New Britain High School has ignited protests by the Hardware City’s pro-family clergy:

“We need to stop the insanity,” said Silas. “First we got prayer taken out of schools. Now they want to pass out condoms. No! No! No! We need to teach abstinence before marriage.”

FIC has a long history of opposing such programs, which do more harm than good. We strongly encourage all interested parties in New Britain to check out our friends at the Center for Relationship Education.

If a parent wants to give their child condoms that is their decision as a parent. I must strongly disagree with what the school board is trying to past, and just food for thought, if the school board decides to pass out condoms at a school function like prom and one of those said condoms break (we all know condoms are not 100% effective), could the school board be at risk of being sued?
