On March 26, 2025 at a public hearing in the Public Health Committee, legislators voted for Connecticut to help facilitate and subsidize the bringing of children to Connecticut for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries in Connecticut even children younger than age 16! Their transportation, their hotel expenses, food, direct payments to doctors and more – all facilitated and subsidized with staffing by the State of Connecticut through a proposed “Safe Harbor Fund”.

If a child changes their mind and doesn’t pursue an abortion, puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and more – will they have to return the money? Will the State pay to send them back home? Nobody knows! . . including Representative Anwar of the Public Health Committee. See how legislators on the Public Health Committee voted on Amendment D to SB7 and Senate Bill 7. Senate Bill 7 now heads to the Senate for a vote.
