Hidden in SB1271 is section (1)(e)(3) which will prevent parents from challenging and board of education members from removing a drag queen story hour “program” sponsored by school libraries. This is an injustice and affront to Democracy and local control. Why are parents and community members being shut out from challenging porny books and programs in school libraries. Contact your legislators today, share this flyer with them, and ask them to oppose SB 1271 and HB 7014.
