TO PROMOTE AND UPHOLD TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES
IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT BY ENCOURAGING, CHALLENGING,
AND EMPOWERING THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW TO DARE, DEFY, AND DO.

 

THE CRISIS

Never before have American youth been subject to such extreme immoral and
antireligious trends in their culture. It is most evident in today's popular culture
of music and television where violence is glorified and sexuality is degraded to a
object of pleasure. Our culture encourages youth to turn away from our faith and
family life in order to find fulfillment in material possessions and personal pleasure.

We face a crisis of values. Our society has traded absolute truth and tried and tested
social forms for relativism and social experimentation,
AND THE AMERICAN FAMILY IS SUFFERING THE CONSEQUENCES!

 

OUR VISION

In the youth wing of the Family Institute of Connecticut, our vision is to encourage
the youth of Connecticut to engage and participate in the battle for our culture,
which is rooted in Judeo-Christian values.

Through research and direct interaction with the Family Institute of Connecticut,
we seek to educate our fellow youth on current issues concerning the family
and encourage each other to engage in debate, especially in academia.

family values and be witnesses to it among
our peers and fellow citizens across Connecticut.

DEFY low cultural expectations

To reject the status quo by setting
higher expectations for ourselves and others.

To take deliberate action in the public sphere
