ATTACK ON CT PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTERS: In 2021, a bill to target Connecticut’s pregnancy resource centers passed our legislature.

TAMPONS IN BOYS BATHROOMS: In 2022, the budget implementer was used to force schools to place tampon dispensers in bathrooms for boys as young as eight years old. There was no public hearing on placing tampon dispensers in boys’ bathrooms. The majority leadership of the Connecticut General Assembly made the change to the bill without public input.

SHIELDING DOCTORS WHO CASTRATE HEALTHY CHILDREN: In 2022, the budget implementer was also used to expand CT’s shield laws unfairly protecting doctors from lawsuits involving hurt individuals in other states, to include “gender affirming care” performed on minors in states that ban it. This year, 2026, the legislature is trying to expand this law to include telehealth. There was no public hearing on adding “gender affirming care” to the original shield bill. It was added to the budget by majority leadership of the Connecticut General Assembly.

PROTECTING MINOR ATTRACTED PERSONS: In 2024, Connecticut’s Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities laws redefined “sexual orientation” to be a gender’s attraction to another gender. Any limitations in the original definition, including age, were removed. In fact, the original legal limitation to exclude paraphillic attractions from the definition of “sexual orientation”, such as attraction to minors, was removed. Sexual and romantic attraction to a minor, including babies, is by definition, now a gender. And according to CT’s wacky definitions, this attraction is protected by CHRO laws (as a sexual orientation).

In fact, in 2026, CT is in the process of reorganizing its “hate crime” laws, and to those laws they have incorporated CHRO’s definition of “sexual orientation”. What does this mean in practical terms? It means that a father who punches a pervert who expresses sexual attraction for his 6 year old daughter may not only be charged with assault, but also a hate crime. If he refuses to hire the same pervert to work in his daycare, then it is also a likely violation of CT’s CHRO laws and that business will face additional penalties.

PROTECTING PORNY LIBRARY BOOKS FOR CHILDREN: In 2025, CT librarians and the majority party passed a law to prevent most Connecticut parents from even challenging porny library books aimed at children. This bill failed the day it was scheduled for a final vote and was quietly removed from the agenda of the Senate – only to appear in the 2025 budget bill in the final hour of the final days by the leadership of the majority party.

We have many good family-friendly and faithful legislators from both parties at the Connecticut General Assembly. But we also have a “super minority” and a “super majority”. This is not good for our state. When one party has a super majority, and dozens of those races run unopposed, radical agendas get introduced and passed, bc, why not?
