It’s a deep topic. But with one lobbying firm already saying they expect another fight over assisted suicide at the Connecticut General Assembly in 2017, it’s important to be up to speed on the deeper topics involved with that issue.

The St. John Paul II Bioethics Center will host a lecture on “Bodily Integration after Total Brain Death: Long Term Survival and its Implications for the Debate Over the Neurological Criteria.” The talk will be given by Rev. Nicanor Pier Giorgio Austriaco, a professor of biology at Providence College, on October 13th at 5:30 pm at the chapel at Holy Apostles College, 33 Prospect Road in Cromwell, with a reception to follow.
