WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW . . .
One of the first steps Connecticut parents can take to begin protecting students against intrusive and morally questionable school surveys is to opt-out of them. Why opt out of student surveys? Our friends at Courage is a Habit have prepared a simple handout to learn more about how surveys invade your family privacy, “feed the beast” of social emotional learning (SEL) funding, and also lead to a permanent record of your child’s psychology. You can opt-out today for the next school year by sending a letter to your Board of Education and School Principal. Please SHARE with your friends and family who are also interested in protecting their child’s and family’s privacy.
