November 2, 2019 Advocating for Life Conference, Bristol CT
The Family Institute of Connecticut is co-sponsoring the 2019 Advocating for Life Conference from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Saint Paul Catholic High School in Bristol, CT. Tickets are only $15 and $5 for students. We will hear from local and national speakers about topics that are active across our state and at the Connecticut legislature. You will learn more about assisted suicide, pregnancy resource centers and local topics that affect the family.
We all know sometimes that we need to speak up! But we can also be unsure about how to proceed or what to say. Now is your chance to be informed. There will be plenty of information about how to advocate on the local and state level. Tickets include lunch and are only $5 for students!
Please know your advocacy will be needed at the State Capitol next year and this conference will help prepare you and your family with facts and skills. You can learn how to write and submit a letter-to-the-editor. We’ll hear from experts on how to lobby your state legislators. Who are your legislators? Do they want to hear from us? What do we do or say? These are all great questions that will be addressed, so please join us on November 2 in Bristol and get your tickets by following the link below . . .
