Never Again Is NowSpearheaded by our friend Bill Brown, citizens will be holding simultaneous poster rallies — bearing signs at rush hour — on Friday, August 28, where support for persecuted Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East will be a major cause. “Never Again Is NOW” is inspired by Glenn Beck’s project of the same name, though not directly connected.

Rallies are being planned in Hartford, Waterbury, Norwich, and Torrington.

  • Hartford:  4 – 5 p.m.  800 Main St. in front of the Old State House
  • Waterbury:  4 – 5 p.m. 235 Grand Street in Waterbury in front of City Hall
  • Torrington:  4 – 5 p.m.  Coe Civic Park, intersection of Main and Rt 202
  • Norwich:  2 – 6 p.m.  In front of City Hall, 100 Broadway, Norwich, CT 06360

From what we understand, attendees may be motivated by several issues, but of particular interest to FIC members is the continuing effort to draw attention to the plight of our brothers overseas.
