Our friends at the Diocese of Bridgeport’s Respect Life Ministry have shared with us information about “A Time of Divine Mercy: A Post-Abortion Symposium” being held next Saturday, November 14, at Notre Dame High School in Fairfield. The day will include workshops with experts on the impact of abortion trauma and its psychological and spiritual healing. Abortion would be terrible enough were it only for the babies who perish, but the violence and lies of abortion leave a broad swath of suffering in their wake. Part of the pro-life mission is to minister to the wounded and heartbroken people left behind, giving them the hope that is possible to find forgiveness, peace, and healing.

From the Diocese’s website: Who should attend? Everyone! Pro-life advocates, post abortive people, clergy, young adults, therapists. Why? Because abortion has impacted each and every-one of us and our world is wounded.
