Recreational Marijuana Bill is Special Session Priority
Our state legislature is in special session today and tomorrow for the express purpose of passing the recreational marijuana bill. We need your help to stop it.
Family Institute of Connecticut did not oppose the legalization of medical marijuana. But recreational marijuana is a whole other matter. Its legalization will greatly alter our society for the worse.
See the editorial in the Waterbury Republican-American yesterday. If it is behind a paywall, at least see the pull-out quote on our FB. As the editors say, our state government will be morally bankrupt if they legalize it.
See also the CT Post article on a press conference against the bill held yesterday by our allies.
Please go to the last alert at the bottom of FIC’s Action Center to contact your legislators NOW and ask them vote NO on recreational marijuana.
