In the 24 hours or so since FIC’s Nicole Stacy blogged about the Rumble in Trumbull the news has broke that–gasp!—the Knights of Columbus in Trumbull also expressed their objections to the highjacking of Mother Teresa’s image for a pro-abortion painting and–double gasp!–First Selectman Tim Herbst was sympathetic.

Yes, FIC understands the First Amendment issues at play here. But let’s cut to the chase, shall we?

The real purpose of the media drumbeat, of course, is to take down Tim Herbst, one of the CT GOP’s few rising stars. But along the way the Left is also happy to remind you that it is ok to treat Catholics with contempt.
